I thought I'd call just to let you know,
I've been thinking of you.
It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life for me. And I'm feeling GOOD~ Ah that song's a classic. It has been covered countless times by contestants in various singing reality shows! Certainly the make-or-break type..
Anyway, how's everyone's new year? Mine's been really awesome! Went to a geopark yesterday with my aunt! Even though it may seem like Geography as I was learning more about the different types of rocks, I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and took lots of pictures (:. Thinking about the new year, I've realised that I've forgotten to make new year resolutions ):. Well, of course I'll be wishing for good 'O' level results ( below 9 points RAW), to be truly happy and make new friends in the next chapter of my education as well as to forgive those who have hurt me in the past and made me stronger to become who I am right now.
Of course, it'll be hard to forgive my once-close friends who treated me like shit. But I'll try to let it all go, but it'll take a while. Maybe months? Or even the entire year. But I'll do my best to fulfil this resolution by the end of this year!
So here we go again. School's reopened and I see juniors struggling to finish their holiday homework. I hope that choir will do well in the upcoming SYF and the Sec 2s and 4s would work hard for their final examinations this year ( Streaming exam and O levels at the end of the year ). Remember, nothing's impossible! (:
Moving on, I'm returning to Singapore really soon, in less than a week's time! Life's been pretty great here in HK, but I don't really wanna return because the 'O' level results will be released REAL soon once I return and I've been nightmares about them. What if I don't do that well? What if I don't get into SAJC? Sigh, I won't be able to enjoy my trip to Taiwan if I get horrendous results.. I've tried to convince myself that I've done my best already, but what if your best just ain't enough?
Oh well, so much for trying to end this post with a happy note.
PS. I'm thinking of changing my blog's URL pretty soon.. It's time to change it to a song title that's more updated~ 'Sometimes You Leave' was by Carrie Underwood in 2007..
