Gosh, a terrible day today indeed! Nearly slept in 2 classes and that's unacceptable! Anyway, didn't really do much today, except studying with Jue Ying, Chang Jie, Mun Pin and Adeline. Hmm. And I bought 4! :D. Really excited!

Oh yeah, I shall make a confession. I REALLY HATE TRIGONOMETRY. It's like the most brain-consuming topic for me so far in Maths! I have to keep thinking about the formulas and stuff. I prefer Pythagoras :D.

Moving on, Youth Day is coming! And it means project work ._. But good news is, I'm gonna hang out with my project mates and do the projects together! :D. And maybe they'll be coming over to my house??

Sigh, sleeping at midnight isnt good for me. I think my brain is fried :X.

Anyway, the good news is that Youth Day is arriving ^^. And I'm trying to complete all my homework on time! And I still have to take the IC photo. Oh well!

In class, there's this person called Matthew that sits beside me almost every lesson in class. Well, I keep telling him stuff, SO THANKS LOADS! Gosh, it seems like we two are brothers as we can 'read each other minds' and are facing almost the same situation right now.

Hey guys! I have only one homework left! :D. Something to celebrate right? Anyway, went around Singapore with my Aunt and ate loads of stuff! Hmm. Schools gonna start in 30 hours. I seriously want time to stop now :/. Oh well, at least I'll be able to see my friends once again right? Hope that they're doing fine!

That also means that choir is starting soon :/. Oh well. Anyway, I need to make some commitments for the new semester right? Been trying to come up with a list! And there're some things like not to talk so much in EL class since my results are like so tragic! D:. Anyway, its a brand new term = a brand new beginning right? Hope that I can reveal more of my good friends and solve my problems that I had/ may encounter!

The concert on Sunday was okay.. Just that my spectacles slipped right down my face and i nearly cried while wearing contacts! But I was like super touched when I heard cheers from the audiences ESP those screaming my name! Thanks a lot people :D. I <3 you all too ! :D. Sigh, will I be able to finish my hwk on time? D:. I wanna go KBOX! I'm like desperate for it! It's been ages since I last went to one! Oh well! D:. Nothing much to post these few days D:. I shall make a promise to myself! I will NOT buy 'I Am... Sasha Fierce', 'Pink Friday' or '4' UNTIL I finish my homework! :D.

But I can't really wear them at night due to the major difference in estig and I might not even see clearly in the day because of the same reason too!

Concert is on this Sunday! I'm so totally (not) looking forward to it! So many things happening, and all for the wrong reasons. But there's a piece of good news! My grandparents came to SG :D. So I can totally spend more time with them!

Hey guys! I'm back right now! Been practicing some songs over the holidays! Really hope my hard work pays off!

Anyway, I would like to dedicate this post to three different people! They've really been good friends with me throughout the OBS course! Although they might not read it now, but I know they will someday.

1) Adeline : Hey Grandma! Thanks for being there with me throughout the entire camp! From your friendliness to all your encouragements that you've given me :D. Hope that you'll stay cheerful always alright? And you must really consider what you have with you right now! Can't wait to see you when school reopens! We must really meet up sometime outside school xD. Anyway, wishing you all the best! :D.

2) Jessie : Yooo Council EXCO! I know we didn't really talk much during the Melbourne trip or in school, but I think this camp totally bonded us together! Thank you for all your encouragements and motivations Especially when I was on the verge of giving up! You always think of others first and are VERY responsible :D. Anyway, you were my belayer during the rock climbing experience! And I gotta really thank you for that! :D. You keep telling me that I can do it and continued to cheer for me! :D. You made me believe in myself through this camp! Once again, Thank you and all the best in your future endeavors :D.

3 ) Randy: Hello DAD :D. I know we had like countless arguments since last year, but we managed to patch them up in the end :D. We also had FUN together in many ways. Being with you in OBS was really an awesome experience (:. Thanks for being there to guide me especially when I lost my specs. And I'm gonna make a confession! There are times when I really wanna smack you hard in the face, or maybe take a knife and kill you because you've made me so depressed T.T. But anyway, you've been an extremely good friend to me since I met you :D. Oh, and I will like to give thanks again for all you've done for me during the OBS camp, especially during the high elements! You've guided me and encouraged me countlessly whenever I felt like giving up! :D. You've taught me to believe in others and most importantly, to believe in myself :D. Thank you Dad! You might not know this, but I regard you as the present I gave you on my birthday! ^^. If you get what I mean! Best of luck in your studies and your life ahead! :D

Sometimes we need some motivation.

Back from OBS camp! It was fun! :D. NEHRU ROCKS TTM! As well as Elizabeth! Loved both instructors! 5 days were totally awesome with them! :D. Although there were many times when we felt like giving up, but there were times where we shared our joys too :D

Day 1 of Camp :

-Woke up like super early!! 6am! To check my backpack once more to see if there're any missing items! It's a 5 day camp (:. Feeling very excited at that time. And I'm going with all my awesome friends (:. Realized that I did not bring Strepsils, so I went to the patrol station to get one before going to school! :D Reached school around 7.15?? Saw many infocomm members there as they have camp too! Was wishing good luck to all the Sec 4 seniors too :D. And then saw Randy, Daniel, Adeline, Farizah, Chermaine and the other people! :D. Then talked about many stuff! And I WANTED TO KILL RANDY (:. Inside secret, Can't tell why here ):. Anyway, then we talked about ________ on the bus to Punggol! And we made many jokes as well :D.

- Reached there, and we had to wait with all our belongings! Gosh, some of the other schools are noisy. And I thought that Eliza's eyes looked a BIT like Krista's ones. Gosh, looks like I have bad eyesight as the others disagreed with me :X. And then we made MANY more jokes with one another, including of spotting the girls that I was looking at. Daniel is so COOL :D We were talking and distracting one another! Haha (:. There were 20 groups, but Zhonghua only split to TWO (:. So we had much more companions :D. And then we met our instructors before heading to the jetty (:. Took a group photo before boarding the boats! :D. Quite cool eh?? :D However, we had to split ourselves up once more because there wasn't enough space in the boats! So Chermaine and Jessie went on first and the rest of the ZH people took the other boat :D.

- Arrived there! The place is like super big! And the sign about the guard dogs at night kinda creeped me out. That means a big fat NO to partying at other people's places. Sigh.. Anyway, had this briefing about OBS camp, saying that it will be mentally and physically tiring. After that, we kinda got into our own groups and made a circle! We first had to agree with the rules such as no BGFs in the campus and stuff. After that, we had to surrender all our personal belongings such as handphones, money, food etc. That signaled a big problem for our group : No alarms! D:. Anyway, we then had to make our own pledge and motto. Like how can be show leadership skills in this camp and what can we expect from it? Meanwhile, was munching on the twisties and sharing it around with ZH people and then to the rest as it had to be eaten right away or thrown D:. Sigh. Anyway, we took quite long to settle it as Bernard says that our answers are all TYS (Ten Year Series ) answers. Sigh, we then had to manage our daily ics and other leadership positions, in which Randy and I were the store ICs ^^.We had to keep the store key properly and ensure that the store is always locked when no one is around!

- After that, we played some games! One was Pirates Ahoy! It's like we had to do actions after some commands! :D. Totally fun! :D. But the ZH people kept sticking onto one another. Haha :D. So cool man! Totally improved the bonds between us :D

- Went to the canteen for our lunch! :D. Well, honestly. I thought it was horrible. Because I had high expectations of food ^^. But anyway, we had to wash our own plates and utensils, before queueing up to be served by the staff of the canteen! Didn't really talk much. We then washed our plates and utensils again before putting them back nicely in the locker! After that, we got our rations :D

- We then had to go to the store and do a store check to see whether all the items are well-conditioned and maintained before giving them to us for usage in the next few days (:. Everything was okay, except for some tent packs! Well, had to ensure that everyone left the room before locking it (: Before that, we put all our bags outside and the rations inside. Looks like we had to cook our own food :D. Haha, oh my terror.

- Proceeded to the precautions lessons! Had to learn how to wear a harness and I had great difficulty wearing one, as I've never seen one before in real life, let alone wearing it :D. LOL! Anyway, I have a great fear of heights! Sighh. And the harness needed to be tight, so i had to secure it extremely tightly! Anyway, wore the helmet ( it was too small for my head and I felt like suffocating. ) Went on with the pre-rock climbing experience! Since the instructors wanted groups of members from different schools, Yu Hang, Sam, Me and Hariff were together ^^. I like being the belayer! So slack but yet so important! Because I support the rope and if the climber falls, I'll be directly supporting his weight! I wasn't the climber for all 4 parts! :D. Isn't that great?? Gosh, anyway, I had a chance to be the dead weight, which is the second supporter of the weight incase the climber falls! :D. Then, I became the rope man, which controls the amount of rope the belayer can use! :D

- Went on with learning the parts of the kayak! Gosh, the parts of it makes me wanna... Faint? It's too complicated for me! All I remembered was the bow, which was the front of the kayak! Anyway, we learnt how to put on a kayak skirt! And then learnt all the safety precautions when kayaking! :D

- After that was dinner! Grr, but before that, guess where we'll be living? If you're thinking of dormitories and sleeping bags, you're way wrong! We live in tents! So cool right? 4 pax per tent! Hence, it meant that we're gonna unpitch and pitch our tents EVERY single day! Argh.. D:. But anyway, it's gonna be a brand new experience :D. So we learnt how to pitch our tents and then while we're doing it, Bernard helped us to cook our rice :DD. Haha! Bernard rocks! :D. So when we went back, the other groups just started to pitch their tents. For us, we're already started to cook our other dishes for the day. And oh yeah, we used mass tins to cook! And to prevent leaving stains on the tins, we had to use toothpaste! I know this sounds supremely disgusting, but that's what happened (:.

- We had BEANS! :D. And..I think sardines too????? Shared food with Daniel and Randy :D. Had quite little as i had like no appetite? Sighh. But we managed to finish the food on the mass tin! We then learnt how to wash the mass tin properly, instead of rinsing it with soap and water! Anyway, after that, we headed to the store to pack our stuff for the kayaking expedition! Totally sounds fun right? Yeah, but its like a 3D2N thing with NO toilets and that we had to pack our clothes into that small yellow dry bag ALONG with our tent stuffs and utensils. Sighh. It was like so hard, especially deciding what to bring. And Bernard was kinda pissed with me! Because I brought this giant bag.. Sigh, and then we still had to have this packet of snacks for our kayaking journey! And 4 litres of water?? Are you serious??! Sigh, then we went to bathe!! :D. Went along with Randy and Daniel! Okay, this sounds wrong.. But nothing happened okay (:. And since it was 4 people per tent, we bonded with Jeremy which was apparently from.. Yishun? I think xD. Went to bathe and brush our teeth! And then we proceeded back to the store and waited for everyone to leave since we had to lock it T.T.

- We then went to some place in the campsite to do some personal reflections! And that we had some firedrill which the whole group took extremely long to assemble!! But still, we managed to know who the headmaster was and that we had to go through this ceremony, which was to watch the lowering of the flags! Quite cool (:

- Went to the tent with a TORCHLIGHT because it was in some strange position in a forest! And it was like COMPLETELY DARK. There was no signs of light except for the moon D:. SUPER SCARY OKAY!! And we had to find our tent! :D. And i had to spray loads of mosquito repellent!! Haha, and i had to stick one Smiley face mosquito patch on my leg!! Haha, :D.

'Advanced Protection. Be 99.9% sure'. Kinda reminds me of Dettol! LOL.

Unfortunately, I couldn't really sleep D:. Maybe I was thinking about the stars! There were a few of them shining brightly in the nightsky! And is it me or the trees were glowing?? And I had a sudden thought of somebody, which made me like supremely emotional ._. Went to sleep after that, maybe tossing about a couple of times, before seeing Randy get up and stare into blank space like what I did before.

Anyway, Day 2 of Camp ! :D


- Woke up like super early? And a big Thank you to Iskanda who woke us up with his brilliant watch! :D. Took a long time to be crystal clear of what we were doing as it was still SUPER early in the morning T.T. Anyway, we went to unpitch our tent! And it took quite a while as we were not really used to it, and that the tent packs keep disconnecting! So it was quite hard to get them out in one piece!!


- Anyway, it was like my group's turn to raise the flag, so we had to assemble earlier. But we were kinda late for like 20 minutes? And bernard was quite angry. So, the instructors helped to put the flags into order and then we did the raising of flags ceremony! After that, Nehru and Elizabeth went to a separate area to conduct our morning activities! :D. Eliza and Bernard told us that we're gonna play 'Poison' which was something like catching in Sec 2!! :D. Where the catchers had to hold hands and stuff! Quite scary though, and the space was quite limited due to the boundaries ><. After everyone was caught, we had to do the DOMO DANCE :D. SO COOL! I love it :D.


- We then separated into our own groups, where we had our own briefings! :D. Bernard didn't really scold us, but we were kinda disappointed with ourselves! It was a leadership camp after all! Went back to our store to get our things prepared and on our way, we saw the other groups running around the parade square for morning exercise. That was when we knew that we were fortunate enough to have instructors like Eliza and Bernard (:


- Went back to the place where we played 'Poison', but only this time, we brought our water and yellow bags down. And we were then told to form a circle and did more reflections! Bernard left us alone to complete a worksheet! And we also discussed the seating arrangement for the kayak and decided that the arrangement would be one boy one girl! Haha, and I was paired with Chermaine :D.


- Walked to the kayaks and brought them down. Learnt how to hold and paddle with the paddler (?) And just realised that Chermaine had never kayaked before and that she doesnt know how to swim! It was like super scary! Anyway, we learnt how to wear the life vest and the SPRAY SKIRT! WOOTS. Super cool to see guys wearing spray skirts! Definitely a once in a lifetime experience :D. Anyway, it was time to do our water confidence test! So cool :D. But the sea was like.. VERY COLD ><. Then we went back up to push our kayaks to the sea so that we can do our test..


- It was our turn! And we paddled to the small boat, And paddled back.. AND THEN BERNARD FORCED US TO CAPSIZE!! D:. So sad. And we managed to get back up! :D. But as we paddled our way back, I accidentally hit Chermaine hard on the head with the paddler! So sorry ><. And Randy saw it and started to laugh! SADIST!


- Then went for round 2! With our spray skirts! Gosh, this time, I lost my specs, and i kinda fell onto the rocks and had some cuts here and there.. Sigh D:. Anyway, everything was in such a blur for me! And after us, we saw a JELLYFISH IN THE SEA! And we were like doing a CAPSIZING TEST?! OMG, so scary!!


- Headed for a short lunch which was a bun before going back to take our stuff and going for TEST 3! Which was to do it LIKE FAR FAR AWAY IN THE SEA! Quite scary! And as we paddled there, it was already drizzling slightly! Anyway, one boat by another, we had to capsize and try to get back up INCLUDING flipping the boat! Sighh. And the current was quite strong, drifting us further and further away D:. Hence, everyone started to grab each other's boats and paddlers to stick as a group :D Then heard that Randy and Ilynn's boat took some time to flip over! I guess it was the tide.. Sigh..


- It was our turn to capsize! And as i wanted to get back up, my shoes almost fell out! It was like super scary!! Anyway, we managed to flip the boat and I climbed up the boat first (:, usually desperate measures of course! Haha :D Anyway, then it started to rain T.T So we headed back to the campsite for some shelter :D. And we were like not done with the tests yet T.T


- Waited for sometime and talked to people :DDD haha, and then we went back to the kayaks after the storm! :D. Went to kayak all the way to an island in Punggol I think? xD. Was quite tiring as the current was quite strong! :D. But it was only a short journey to the island as the sun was setting soon ):.


- Went there and realised that the other groups had already arrived and we were the last D:. So that means that all the good spots for tents were somehow taken! D:. It was okay though, haha! We managed to get a suitable spot for our tent! Anyway, while collecting our yellow bags, we had to pass through this bridge which does not even have boundaries like railings or anything. It was just an elevated platform! It was super scary for us at first (:.


- Splitted up. Some of us went to pitch the tents, while the others ( mostly girls ) went to cook our dinner! It was curry chicken with tuna and other stuff! :D. Pitching tents was like still considered the HARDEST part of the camp because the tent packs keep disconnecting! And it was like super irritating! But we managed to overcome the challenge in the end (:.


- Went to eat our food! Randy and Daniel was already sharing and since I lost my specs, i couldnt see clearly at night! Jessie and Adeline were like helping me by telling me where are the rubbish bins and there's a rabbit hole too :D. SUPER COOL! :D. So I shared food with Jeremy! Haha :D. Quite cool! Didn't talk much with him! But i can sense the friendship that we've made :D. And then it was time to wash up! And thank goodness I brought one entire packet of disposable utenstils as they really help in the disposing part! Went to wash the mass tins, and a big THANK YOU TO FARIZAH AND ADELINE <3 as they lended us their soap to wash the mass tins! :D.


- After that, I planned to make the tent that we are living in become much much neater! So I was like putting the stuff to one side. As there was like a briefing about the kayaking expedition, I did not manage to complete settling the tent stuff. Anyway, we first had to undergo a briefing about the kayaking expedition, like the route etc. And then we picked our leaders! :D. GO AUDREY AND AIKO :D. And the instructors needed 30 minutes to brief them. Hence, the rest of us were listening to the other instructors. They decided to do their spot check of our camp etiquette! So Bernard borrowed my torchlight and we went to the area where all the groups cooked food. And it turned out that two groups were so called stealing Nehru's water bottles and that they did not tidy the area well. BUT NEHRU AND ELIZABETH WERE SAFE! So we went back to our tents to rest for a while, and I seized this opportunity to TIDY the tent! (:.


- It was time for the briefing and stuff, and we went back to the meeting and listened to the briefing. Proposed kayaking time : 8 h. I was like OH EM GEE~.


- And soon the briefing was over, and we went back to our tents to do our night stuff and then sleep. Well, since I did not have specs, I couldnt really see clearly. So I was somehow following Daniel and Randy as they are like my most trusted males in that camp :D!~ But I felt that i irritated them :X. Maybe I'm just thinking too much D:.


- Went to brush our teeths and then went straight to the tent to catch some rest. Couldnt really sleep at first. Maybe there was so many things inside my mind.. Thinking about personal stuff! D:. Then, i sit up and watched the sky. Haha. :D. And when I was sleepy, i went back to my sleeping position! XD. But I saw Randy waking up suddenly.. Maybe it wasn't just me who couldnt sleep :D.


- OH YEAH! I forgot to add this part! We had this sentry duty thing! Elizabeth took the first shift, and Nehru took the second shift! Quite cool (:. Went to sit on the bench and kinda talked to Daniel! :D. But it was quite tiring as it was SO late at night D:. So I followed Daniel around the campsite. After our shift, we had difficulty waking up the next shift because we did not even know where their tents were. But we managed to find out at the end! And they seemed reluctant to wake up D:


Day 3! :


- Woke up like super early! We decided not to brush teeth as we needed to unpitch our tents and stuff. Lucky I brought my torchlight! It was easier for us to unpitch the tent as we needed light! ( This kinda reminds me of Physics ).


- After that, we had breakfast!! :D But i didnt want to eat anything as i had no appetite. Well, Rachael forced me to eat biscuits though!! D:. Hahaha, and after that we carried the kayaks to the shore! :D. 8 hours of kayaking. That is like tremendous! After carrying, we formed this circle and we started to say our expectations for this expedition! But we had to sum it up to one word and it cannot be repeated! D:.


- After that, we went to our boats and applied sunblock! I was the first to enter the kayak! :D. And then it was Chermaine! :D. And we started to kayak! We met Adeline with Farizah along the way. And Adeline was looking SUPER professional with her shades. Haha! :D And then we started to kayak.. And kayak and kayak! Of course taking a short 5 minutes break after one hour of kayaking :D. We saw some jellyfishes! :D. Haha, to those who know what it means ^^.


- Was like super tired halfway. This expedition was like a physical and mental challenge to us. Chermaine and I were already on the brink of giving up. We had to use positive thinking and encouragement to spur one another on. And as we reached the end, there was a storm brewing up! D:. So we had to rush towards the shore and the current was so strong that it kept drifting us away from the destination D:. So we were like persevering! And there was this kayak with one male and female! They were like super nice and we kept talking non stop to each other! :D. Haha! :D AND HE KEEPS STEALING MY BISCUITS XD!


- Got off the kayak immediately upon reaching the shore. The storm had already arrived and we were pitching our tents. Instead of using the pins to support the flysheet, we decided to use rocks instead! To save time (:. After we were done, we decided to help Audrey's group in setting up the tent! :D.


- Stayed inside the tent for sometime. After the rain had subsided, we decided to find the toilet as some of us had THE CALL! It was like a super long walk! D:. But we found it in the end! And as we washed our hands, I noticed the water was yellow. Like literally. So i thought it might be the trick of the light as I could not see clearly until I saw the sign that stated that the water is not safe for drinking. Went outside and started to wash my wet rubber shoes :D.


- Went back and started to cook dinner. It was already like 5pm?? And the instructors wanted us to change into dry clothes so as to prevent ourselves from being ill after the storm. Dinner for that day : Instant noodles with Luncheon Meat and mushroom! :D. And Audrey was like super hyper as she likes eating Luncheon meat, but her parents doesnt allow. So she wanted all 4 cans to be opened, thinking that all of us like it too. But apparently, we don't D:.


- And as we were cooking the noodles, we realised that we ran out of solid fuel D:. So Elizabeth was kind enough to give us some solid fuel for cooking! Oh yeah, the temporary camp site was full of sandflies and ants! And we keep getting bitten by them D:. And there was this short rain despite the sunny weather. D:. So we took the rug and lifted it up to prevent the rain from entering the food :D. And we thought of an alternative solution. We could use bread for dinner too as we can easily put the food on to the bread and then eat it :D.


- I shared food with Randy this time. And we were like trying to ensure that the noodle does not drop onto the grass. But both of us failed. Terribly. XD. So we picked up the food and threw them in the thrash bag that Jessie provided :D. After that, we needed to wash the mass tins! And I kinda had a short argument with Randy. He wanted to wash the mass tin in the sea as it was closer. but I wanted to wash it in the toilet as we could not just dump everything in the sea right?? D:. HAHA, I LEARNT TO BE AS ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AS GRANDMA :D. But due to the lack of time, I relented. A problem surfaced when we were washing it. The tide was getting higher and Randy was wearing long pants. So I helped him wash the mass tin :D.


- After that, we attended another briefing! We congratulated the sea expedition leaders for their hard work on that day and we needed to pick another! :D. And Adeline was doing a TRICKY CHALLENGE by helping me pour the orange powder into my water bottle! Thanks loads Adeline :D. And we were then notified that we arrived much earlier than expected :D. WOOTS :D. And we had to do sentry duty again! D:. Wanted to take the last shift, but the other group got it despite us calling for it first. Hence, we were the shift after Elizabeth again :D. OH, AND MY PARENTS SENT MY SPARE SPECTACLES OVER (:. Although my vision is still blur, at least its better (:. THANKS MUM AND DAD :D.


- WATER ARRIVED! Went to refill my water bottles :D. And after that, we went back to our tent to get some rest. But before that, Daniel suggested a game! :D. We had to form a circle. And somebody will pick an artist and name a song from that artist. Songs cannot be repeated. And it continues all the way until one person cannot continue to name the song! AND THEN THAT PERSON NEED TO DO FORFEIT :D. Oh and that is considered one round. That artist cannot be repeated in the subsequent rounds :D.


So I started the game with AVRIL LAVIGNE! :D. And I think I kinda sang :


"HEY! HEY! YOU! YOU! I DONT LIKE YOUR GIRLFRIEND!"


And we started to name many songs from that artist! Ranging from ' Complicated ' to ' What The Hell ' :D


And I think Jeremy lost that round! So our proposed forfeit is... DO DOMO DANCE 3 TIMES DURING NIGHT SENTRY OR SOME OTHER TIME :D. And it will stack if we lose each round.


Since I was the last person who said a song before the round ended, I got the chance to pick the next artist (:. AND GUESS WHO I PICKED.....?


TAYLOR SWIFT! :D. And I started with Enchanted! <3


And we went round and round with the song! And i think Daniel lost the round! D:.


So Randy picked the artist this time! MICHAEL JACKSON! THE KING OF POP!


And the game went on and on from artists like ' The Cataracs ' to ' Lady Gaga '! :D. INCLUDING KESHA TOO (:.


And when a person cannot think of a song, the others can choose to give clues! As Randy needed help with the Taylor Swift round, I wanted to sing to him ' Mean '! But I keep getting the tune mixed up with 'Speak Now' D:.


HAHA. AND I SANG AN EXCERPT OF BAD ROMANCE TOO :D.


In the end, I had to do 6 Domo Dances!
Daniel had to do 12 Domo Dances!
Randy had to do 6 Domo Dances!
And Jeremy needed to do 12 Domo dances?


- And off we went to sleep! I didn't really sleep! D: . Was awake the entire night and it was time for us to take over the sentry duty! Realized that the girls took the first hour and the boys took the second hour (:. Anyway, was sitting on the rug and waited for time to pass by! Saw one instructor patrolling too (:. Soon, it was the end of our shift, after numerous discussions and we woke up the next group! :D


- Went back into the camp, and sprayed some insect repellant and put another mosquito patch on my leg :D. Couldnt really sleep again D:.


Day 4 :


- Rise and Shine! 4am in the morning xD. Gosh. We unpitched our tents and packed our stuff into the yellow bags once again (:. But before that, we went to the toilet. THE WAY THERE IS COMPLETELY SPOOKY. There was no presence of light! So we had to use our torch and navigate D:. And on the way back, I had stomachache and I went back to the toilet. Alone. All i had was a small torchlight accompanying me! And the tap water seemed clear this time. But its still not safe! Walked back slowly! IT WAS VERY SCARY! There were like centipedes? And i had to be very careful! And there was once I turned wrongly and saw this woman, a van and two guard dogs. I WAS COMPLETELY FREAKED OUT AND I RAN WITH MY RUBBER SHOES ALL THE WAY TO THE CAMPSITE. And the dogs were barking T.T


- Tried to stuff the yellow bag into our kayaks P:. Found it quite challenging though. It just wouldnt fit in D:. So Audrey helped us :D. And we carried the kayaks one by one to the shore :D. And we formed a circle once more, and repeated the same activity as the day before (:.


- Waited for the others to kayak first as Nehru decided to kayak as a TEAM :D. And I LOVE THE NAVIGATORS! They move slowly to ensure everyone can catch up with them :D. AND THEY'RE FROM NEHRU! SO PROUD OF THEM (:. The journey was quite short. And everyone was like bullying Adeline by splashing water into her boat! And it was SUPER FUN AND CUTE :D. Chermaine wanted to do so also :D. And we saw jellyfishes, dead fishes and SLIPPERS FLOATING IN THE SEA! Super cool (:. And we paddled much faster than the day before (:.


- We gathered at a location, and in groups, the kayaks went back to the original campsite to alight and to carry their kayaks. :D. And soon it was our turn! :D. After we were done, we helped out the others and then started to wash the kayaks! :D. The ZH people sticked to each other and carried the kayaks to the water station! And the instructors were naughty P:. They sprayed water on us! :D. And we flipped the kayak and scrubbed it before see-sawing it to get all the water out :D. After that, we carried the kayak to the kayak holders (?) and it was super tiring especially when you are carrying from the bow or the tail or the kayak! And soon, fatigue striked me D:. Daniel realised and then helped me! THANKS :D.


- And after we were done with the kayaks, me and Audrey went to spray ourselves with water to feel more refreshed and we can remove any dirt on our clothes :D.


- We then had to collect all the life vests, paddlers, skirts etc. :D. Did that in a hassle and started to bring back all our belongings to the store and we can have a proper BATH :D. But i decided to stay with the girls to account for any missing items in the stores while the others bathe. :D. It feels good to have a good shower after 2 nights without one? :D. Haha!


- Went back to the store and then brought our water bottles and utensils for lunch! :D. It was.. Instant noodles again xD. But who cares?! Went to pitch our tents too :D. Anyway, we then seized this opportunity to find the pins that we were missing! Me and Daniel went to look at the spot we pitched our tents. And we found 2 :D. Turns out that the others found 8! so we had 2 extras as we were missing 8 only! Anyway, we decided to give the extras to Elizabeth :D.


- Ate lunch and then helped Bernard by arranging the stuffs neatly in the parade square, then counting them! :D. AFTER THAT, OH MY HORROR. It was rock climbing D:. Not literally, but a high elements challenge :D. Anyway, Randy and I paired up since we wanted to do the inner one. But I decided not to be the first as I found it confusing in terms of the route! D:. So Rachels went in first! Kept cheering for them :D.


- And soon.. It was my turn... And i had difficulty placing my feet on the first staple as my feet was too big ><. And Randy was like halfway up? But he went down and helped me up :D. And I could hear Nehru cheering for me :D. It was quite difficult, as my legs couldnt really stretch, but Randy kept guiding and encouraging me :D. And we needed to go to a different route halfway. So he went first, and then he helped me to look out for my route! D:. Honestly, I found the route to be quite simple! :D So i was climbing.. And Randy already reached the top ^^, because one had to go first and I was not confident at all! And I had to climb up this platform which kept shaking as it is only supported by ropes! AND FARIZAH CHEERED FOR ME (:.


And as i climbed up the ropes, my palm was in great pain. It was like super hard for me to climb up! But Randy was at the top, waiting for me to reach and kept encouraging me! Soon, I was near the top, and I had to meet the greatest obstacle of the challenge, which is to get up the platform. There was no rope or staple for me to hold on. And I was like kinda stuck there for 15 minutes? I COULD HEAR ADELINE, RACHAEL,RACHEL, JESSIE AND FARIZAH CHEERING FOR ME (:. And Randy was like up there encouraging me! He tried to help me by offering his hand, but I still couldnt get up! I wanted to let loose, but my mind kept telling me that it was just a rope. I tried to cling onto the rope, but suffered friction burns on my hands and arms. Hence, I couldn't move for a while. Then, I had an idea. Although the others tried to tell me to hold onto the rope, I went to the side and used the platforms by the side as my support to get up!


- And as I got up, everyone was like cheering for me :D. And I was proud of myself! Soon, I went down AND I IMMEDIATELY GAVE A HUG TO RANDY (:, then to Jessie, my belayer :D. And lastly, I went to thank Bernard for his guidance. And he gave me these wise words.


' I only can help you this much. The rest is all up to you. ' :D.


Audrey, Daniel and Randy then went to pitch up the remaining tents. But I chose to stay as I wanted to cheer for the remaining climbers as they did so for me too (:. JESSIE CAN REALLY CLIMB FAST! :D.


After everyone was done, I met Farizah and GAVE HER A HUG TOO (:. Then, I was looking for Adeline, but to no avail. Hence, I went to help those who were pitching the tents. But as i arrived, no one was there except for two army guys. Thinking that they might be busy, I started to collect the big rocks for the tents :D. Soon, Randy, Daniel and Audrey came with new tent packs as some of them were broken :D. Started to pitch the tents :D. And Jessie came along too (:.


- AND IT WAS DINNER TIME! As it was the last dinner in OBS, we decided to cook the best food we had! :D. And guess what, we all had liquid as the majority of our dinner, though we wasted LOADS of rice ):. CAMPBELL SOUP! ORANGE JUICE! OVALTINE! :D. Haha! And then we needed to wash our utensils! :D. Went to clean the mass tins and we tried to remove the stains caused by the soups! :D


- And it was evening! Bernard was not happy with the mess tins, so we went to wash it again! And then, we had some reflections time, before going back to our tents to rest (:. But before that, we went back to the store to take our clothes and bathe once more and BRUSH OUR TEETH :D.


- Went back to the store and waited for everyone to leave before locking the room (:. OH AND I MET ADELINE AND GAVE HER A HUG TOO (:. And Aiko thought we were having BGR?? Went to our tent and slept (:. It was the final night of the camp! D:.


Day 5 :


- Woke up early in the morning and unpitched our tents for the final time! Put all the tent materials outside the Medical Centre before proceeding to the canteen for Breakfast! :D. Washed the utensils and then collected our food (:. The food was not bad xD. Noodles and Ovaltine! :D.


- After breakfast, we washed our utensils once again before putting them back into the locker! Then, we went down to do our self reflections! And we had this activity where we write our name on a piece of paper and pass it down to the rest of the members. They will then write one good and bad thing about that member (:.


- After that, we proceeded for another high elements challenge! After succeeding in my first, I wanted to DO THIS :D. It was to climb up to the top, jump and then grab a bar :D. It looks quite simple! But the scary part is the jumping! D:. Managed to overcome it! :D.


- Went for lunch, and same routine! After that, we went to a location where Bernard distributed our items back to us, as well as certificates and photos (:. Did a bit more of reflection, and completed the survey form (:


- AFTER THAT, IT WAS SHOPPING! :D. Went to the souvenir shop and bought 2 shirts, a notebook and a badge! :D. ALONG WITH A CAP TOO! :D. I had to buy loads of stuff because I might not return. So I wanted to keep those memories with me by purchasing them (:. After that, we assembled in the hall, and we were given our debriefs before being dismissed.


- We then had to group up in our schools! As we got dismissed group by group, ZH had to split up because the boat was only occupied by half. So me, Audrey, Daniel and Randy stayed behind while the rest proceeded. TOOK THE SPEEDBOAT BACK TO PUNGGOL POINT! But had to pass through a police check first! D:. Made a couple of jokes regarding the check, as I was pretty nervous about it!


- Cleared the check! Booked and shared a taxi with Gregory and Daniel! We wanted Randy to come along too, but he was rushing somewhere else ):. AND IT WAS HOME SWEET HOME AFTERWARDS :D.


Sorry for the late post! It is pretty long right? It's like 3am in the morning now! Gotta get some rest (:. NIGHTS! And I will post more stuff soon! :D.

Tired and Exhausted.

Hey guys, just came back for camp! Sorry for not blogging for like almost a week!!

Been talking to some people recently. Maybe because I'm not really used to packing for a camp. Anyway, been talking to this person, and that the person seems cheerful! Alright :D.

Day 1 for camp :

- Went to school at like 6.30am, listening to music and sms-ing along the way to school. Reached school and talked for a while before passing my keys and heading down to the parade square with my bags. They were super heavy, but I brought loads of tidbits!

- Talked a bit with Randy, and then put our bags behind the parade square after the usual flag-raising ceremony. And then we met our facils which asked us to line up into 2 straight lines. And guess what? I wanted to be in the same room as Esmonde and Louis, but they picked their groups by a line. But the good thing is, I GOT A FEMALE FACIL! YAY :D. It's like the first one that I have for camps, and she's like quite cute. *coughs*

- Right up next is the ice-breaker games! We had to introduce ourselves and then for the next part, the catcher will have to catch someone before he calls another name with the valid CCA or else he will have to catch that person. Pretty tiring. And soon, we went out of games! And the girls recommended truth or dare. Gotta say that some of them are mean!! D:. Kah Wai's dare was easy. But when the bottle pointed to me, I was kinda influenced by Kah Wai. Hence, I chose Dare and I regretted that option.

- After Truth or Dare, we merged together as one whole class, and then we got our stuff and boarded the bus (:. Sat with Louis! Idk why but he was like engrossed with his phone. Haha, and I was happy that MP was sitting beside me! YAY :D. And then I passed my sticky to the people in the bus! :D. We kinda slept for a little while ( I think xD ). And we chatted all the way to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal :D. Waited for the ferry!! :D. It was kinda fun! Sitting in the terminal, and OMG. It's much nicer than Harbourfront's one! AHHH! :D. Then when we boarded the ship, Kah Wai stole my place! So I couldn't sit with the rest. Sighh. I kinda felt like a pushover in this whole trip. Oh well.

- Sat with Harry then. And I fell asleep with my mouth open O: while listening to my Dearest Carrie Underwood <3. Anyway, Some really MEAN people like Elston Aw took photos of me in that posture XD. And then I threatened him to delete them! :D. Haha, no offence to anyone O:. Soon, we arrived in Bintan, Indonesia! :D - Went through customs, but feeling a little tired and giddy especially after a nice nap in the ship :D. Anyway, saw Esmonde and Xin Yi talking. And there's Clare and Elaine too xD. And we were like talking loads of crap and stuff. I told Xin Yi and Clare that I brought some stuff to Bintan, and they were like, " Man Chun, we've been good friends since Sec 1 right? XD " along with those eyes. Haha, so cool right? And I shared with them :D. And when it was Clare's turn to pass through the immigration, she snatched the passport away from the officer and he was giving her the look as well as the smirk. Anyway, told her after we went out of the building. And we had to wait under the hot sun for the buses!! And I was like talking to everyone, and sharing my stickies with them! I'm such a good person :D. - We then boarded the bus, and people started to like abandon me. It's alright! Wanted to talk an empty seat in front of Harry. But since the facils have no seat, I let Lynn and Farok to sit on my seat while I sit with Harry. And guess what? I WAS LISTENING TO CARRIE UNDERWOOD WHILE SLEEPING TOO (:. And the trip to Agro Resort was kinda smooth, except that I don't see many buildings and had to pass through many trees!! And we had to stop halfway as the bus driver had to assist another bus to continue its journey. - Arrived at Agro Resort after about an hour from the Ferry Terminal! The beach looks kinda cool! And the scenery is NICE! :D. We then headed into the functions room and waited for the other Sec 3 classes to arrive! And then we had some introduction before heading down towards the floating platform for Lunch :D. We thought it was some kind of a buffet, but we were wrong. It was like any other typical camp. Waiters giving us servings of the food! :D. But at least we had this drink that tastes like Grass Jelly that was nice (: Talked many stuff! :D - Next, we had this time slot when we had to create our banner, cheer and motto! Including the Performance for the campfire that night! And 3e6 is so bonded with MOGU :D. Can you guess our names? Its like the opposite. 'Huh Mogu' and 'Mogu Huh'. Cool right? And then we had to decide on our performance! Me, Adeline and Kah Wai were like trying to make mash-ups of Katy Perry songs! And this was when we all knew that Mr Goh's favorite song was.... CALIFORNIA GIRLS! WOOHOO! :D We also did a mash up of that song and PEACOCK (:. But because of the speed and the lack of time for the members to learn them, we decided to cancel them ):. Anyway, I will share the snippet of our peacock to all of you (:. I wanna see your mogu. X2

- Wasn't that cool? Qin Ying and Daniel were designing the banner and the rest were contributing with suggestions! This part of the camp started to ignite the class spirit of 3E6! :D. And we then realised that we did not have enough time to complete the cheer. Oh well. So we went back to the functions room to proceed on with the day's programme.

- Next was improvised rafting. Went to the Beach!! And then we passed by this group of girls and Mr Goh was saying something.. Can't tell much here. Censored. Hehe :d. Anyway, back to the programme! Learnt the many knots and stuff. But I wasnt paying attention as I was distracted by the BEACH (:. And soon we were off to build our raft! Nicholas transferred to our group to help! YAY :D. Cool right? And I contributed loads of eye power! But I also helped in carrying of stuffs etc. That was because I could not visualise or understand how were they building the raft. But the bad news is, WE ALL DIDNT BRING AN EXTRA PAIR OF SHOES D:. And after about 30 min, the raft was completed! :D. But Esmonde's group finished it before us. So they had to try the raft out first by going into the SEA (:.

- Was cheering for them. And kinda doing something else ^^. Maybe some people will understand what I'm talking about. Well, for the others, Ignorance is Bliss. Anyway, they kinda sinked. Maybe it was due to many people sitting on the raft! And the test for the vest was kinda cool! So it was our turn! And I liked how the waves collided with us! :D. But it was getting cold as the sun was setting. And it was time for us to test the raft. And only 4 people went up as the Station IC said that the raft will sink if there's too many people on it. Guess what? OUR RAFT PASSED THE TEST! YAY :D. Was kinda happy! We shed loads of sweat and hardwork and we had this result! It was so heartening to see the result! :D.

- Had to dismember the raft. We did it until like 7 or 8pm? And the sun was already set D:. So we got our keys and went back to the function room before heading back to the rooms! :D. And we had to rinse our shoes quite thoroughly to get all the sediments out! And then we took a rinse before heading out for dinner! Oh and before that, I kinda bullied Louis caused he said something :D. THE WRATH OF MANCHUN! :D. Hehe. Dont mess around with me xD.

- Headed to the cafeteria for dinner! We had to do the food cheer D:. And 3e1 seemed extremely hyper as they did many cheers and stuff! Was sitting beside the boys and we talked about many stuff! :D. And I LOVE THE PINEAPPLE IN BINTAN! SO SWEET <3. And then we had to clear our plates and stuff. BLAH BLAH BLAH. Okay, then we headed out to the Campfire, and 3e6 was still unprepared for it D:. BUT It's alright; It's Okay - My Catch Phrase :D. We all kinda did our very best for it :D. YAY! The campfire was then lit by the VP and it was soon SCORCHING HOT! :D. We were told to move back. And the campfire STARTED :D. 3e6 was the 'opening number' of the performances. I think we kinda screwed up. And the DJ's songs were VERY NICE! Love them TTM. GO ENGLISH POP :D.

- And we listened to the other classes performed. Honestly, I thought that 3e4's performance was the best amongst them all, and was quite disappointed with the performance from 3e1. I thought like their class was super high, but the performance was average to me! We then did many different cheers and games! And then, guess what was the spectacular event of the night? WATCHING OUR VERY OWN FORM TEACHERS DANCE!! Woots! Mr Goh's and Miss Ting's dancing is (Y)!! They first had to dance some pop songs from Lady Gaga. Eg. Poker Face and Bad Romance. It was so cool! And the whole cohort was shouting for encore! And the facil said that they were gonna do a song that has a different type of dance. I thought it was classical or jazz. But guess what's the next song?

You guys know what I'm thinking now right? Yup, its BELLY DANCING/ LATIN DANCE. So cool! This was like my favorite dance from Mr Goh and Miss Ting. After the dance item, 3e6 boys were like, " Mr Goh, I know you wanted California Girls! " COOL RIGHT? Haha. Screamed loads of times. And the night sky in the beach was really unforgettable. It looked like a starry wallpaper on the ceiling of rooms. But it was REAL. So beautiful! And we had some moments of reflection before heading back to our rooms (:.

- Usually, this is the unforgettable part for classes in most camps! THE PARTYING! :D. Esmonde, Louis bathed. But there was like Power Failure TWICE which freaked most of us out. After that, we took all our tidbits and headed to Kah Wai's room which was next door! And then we invited the girls! Cool right? But since someone was bathing and that it was quite insecure, the boys were gentleman *coughs* and fetched the girls from the lobby. But since they were still not ready when we checked the first time, we headed back to the room to find out that Elijiah was missing! It was like super freaky! So we tried running back to the room to find Elijiah. And he was there! :D. I CANNOT RUN FAST HOR. Anyway, we partied and Daniel was bathing when the girls came in! :D. And we played a bit of Blackjack ( or maybe did not start at all ), talked LOADS of stuff until...

There was a knock on the door. Everyone started to hide in the toilet! LOLS! Mr Goh was standing outside the door. And Mr Goh demanded the toilet door to be opened. So, we opened it and gave him a surprise! Haha! And he was like saying the girls should not be here because we are all tired and anything can happen.. And suddenly, we received a call from Joyi, saying that Ms Yeo demanded all the girls to return to their rooms D:. Sadded much right? But the boys still remained behind and then we went up to Mr Goh's room to play truth or dare and disturbed Mr Tan Li Chun! :D. We did many sorts of stuff. Hehe! Censored part again! :D. OF COURSE! WE UNVEILED MANY SECRETS OF THE CLASS! MUAHAHA! :D

- After a while, Mr Goh received a call from the girls, saying that Miss Ting got into some trouble because of the incident earlier and signalled us to return back to our rooms. We then sneaked back into our rooms :D. I bathed as I did not do so earlier! After that, I had this guilty confession to make. hence, I called Jue Ying and asked her for the situation status. I feel so mean. Doing that to Miss Ting. I mean, its the class' fault. Not on Miss Ting or the girls only. Sigh, but Miss Yeo did not know about the party, so yeah. Went to sleep! :D

Day 2 of Camp :D :

- Woke up like super early! Well, that was because my alarm woke me up, while Louis was still sleeping soundly. Haha. Went to the toilet to shower and started to pack my stuff. When it was time, I woke Esmonde up and we continued to pack. But Louis was not awake yet D:. Realizing it just 15 minutes before the reporting time, we woke him up desperately!

- I just discovered that I left my 2 jars of stickys in Kah Wai's room last night ^^. Anyway, discovered that I misplaced loads of stuff! But still headed down to the cafeteria for breakfast (:. The weather was scorching hot! And we still had to do the food cheer T.T It was super tiring. And my eyes felt like closing! D:. Anyway, had to eat breakfast, and then wash our utensils before returning them back to the cafeteria!

- Started with games. And we had to play this Hullahoop game in which that I was the leader O:.
So we first had to be in a circle and then we passed the hullahoop to one another without breaking the circle! It's so cool! But soon enough, the second game begun! It was called Crossing the River, where the grass patch was the river.. So we were given planks to cross over to the other side. :D. But only two feets can be on the planks at any time, and if anyone falls off, the game will restart! Quite interesting game! We keep failing for like... 25 min? Until Esmonde Tan decided that we should share planks! And although we failed the first time, but we did it the second time :D. And we were like doing many cheers and stuff.

- The next game was the mine game! We had to collect ping pong balls, yet avoid the cones and the other balls~ Anyway, Adeline went in first and she had to be blindfolded! So we kinda guided her way through and my voice is clear and distinct in her perspective (:. Then, it was Kah Wai's turn! There were some problems in the game, but we still managed to avoid or to resolve them (:. And Adeline claimed that Siti kinda cheated... But its alright! :D. Maybe its just a random guess. We learnt much about team bonding and spirit through this game!

- And the next activity was..... *drumroll* OUTDOOR COOKING! Yup, we had to make a few dishes from scratch and cook them (:. There were many insects! But we managed to complete the scrambled eggs, pancakes, breadstick and the jelly ( even though its still in liquid state ). After that we needed to present, and heard loads of innovative crap from all those dishes ^^. And soon enough, Miss Ting's worst fears were confirmed! Teachers are gonna do taste test! Should've totally seen their faces! :D. The food was awful, but they still smiled and said it was well done! 3 Cheers and 3 Cheers and 3 Cheers for Teachers (:

- Walked back to the hotel, but we grabbed the person in front of us and we made a train! 3e4 was right behind us, singing SO many songs :D. Hehe! Lunchtime! Congrats Shiok AH! They were the best camper :D

- Prepared our luggages/ baggages and left the hotel! :D. Went back to the ferry terminal after another hour's long journey. And guess what? Half of my class are in Emerald Class! I'm like SUPER jealous! But its alright, its not really that different from economy class! Besides, the Economy class was super crowded (: Talked to mortal and faithful neighbour! Shared my remaining food with them too :D. Haha, and we arrived at singapore! Started to SMS many people etc! :D HOME SWEET HOME! Went back to school via the school transport and farewelled each other :D.


Sorry for the rush in the end! It's been long overdue! I know ): Anyway, I'm trying to do the OBS post now :D.
